“Several years ago my wife and I visited the Grand Canyon. We watched an Eagle soaring about 100 feet out in the canyon. A ranger then told me it was not an Eagle,
but a California Condor flying about a half a mile away. The Condors wingspan was 14 feet. Beautiful, graceful, and dominating.
In 1982 there were fewer than 25 left in the wild. Today there are more than 160.”
